How I Got Here—and Why I Stayed

My name is Kayla. I’m a Certified Reiki Master Teacher, Psychic Medium, RYT-200 Yoga Instructor, and lifelong creative. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to storytelling, expression, and understanding souls on a deeper level.

My sensitivity to energy showed up early in life in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time — experiences that could be described as paranormal, intuitive, or simply unexplainable moments of knowing and perception. As a child and teenager, I didn’t have language for it, but I could feel things, sense things, and sometimes experience environments in ways that felt different from those around me. I couldn’t understand any of it, and there way no one to guide me. So I tucked it away.

Before stepping fully into my healing work, I studied Musical Theatre at UCLA and spent over twenty years working professionally as an actress and singer in theatre, film, and television. Interestingly, those early intuitive sensitivities resurfaced strongly during my time performing full-time, especially in older or famously haunted theaters. That life taught me a lot about emotion, presence, intuition, and what it means to connect with friends and strangers alike — but over time, I started feeling a pull toward something more personal and grounded. Something that felt less like performance, and more like presence. With support from my community and mentors, I quickly took a dive into my healing journey and eventually came into my full gifts as a psychic medium.

Rooted in the belief that intuition belongs to everyone, my work today is centered on helping people trust themselves more deeply, reconnect with their inner voice, and explore spirituality in a way that feels approachable, real, and seamlessly integrated.

In December 2020, I opened my holistic practice and began building what would become a deeply meaningful path of service. I quickly received my first residency as a Psychic, Yoga Instructor, and Reiki Practitioner at a wellness center in Riverside County. From there, my work naturally expanded — traveling throughout Southern California offering Reiki certifications, tarot workshops, and intuitive development trainings in Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego, where I now live. Today, I offer private sessions and group experiences, and I also work as a resident reader at Earth’s Elements in Little Italy.

My practice continues to evolve, but the heart of it remains the same: creating spaces where people feel safe to play, listen inward, and reconnect with themselves.

Journey Back to The Heart & Soul

After spending years disconnected from my intuitive gifts and working through the layers of shame, I slowly found my way back to myself. I learned how to bring together my spirituality, psychic sensitivity, healing work, creative expression, and deep love of connection in a grounded, real way. Now I support others in doing the same—holding space for them to trust their own intuition and reconnect with their own inner power.

I care deeply about helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered without bypassing the real, messy, and beautiful complexity of being alive. This work has taught me again and again that self-love isn’t optional — it’s foundational. And that healing isn’t about becoming someone new, but about returning to yourself with more honesty, compassion, and trust.
